An astounding teacher who set foot on the school grounds in 2006 is one of the most accomplished heroes in the history of Century Foundation MHSS. Beginning with the journey all the way to the Olympics from Century, he travelled every step with our athlete Dharun who participated in Rio Olympics. Mr. Alagesan has made every beginner a winner. The students have accumulated unparalleled success in the district, state, national and international secular athletics. It is noteworthy that the physical education teacher with all these qualifications was recognized and nominated for the Best Physical Education Teacher of the year 2014-2015. On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, Mr. Alagesan has received the Chief Minister’s Award along with a cash cheque of Rs.1, 00,000.
